Acceptance of Terms

By using ClipCard — including the Chrome extension, web application, or any related services — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use ClipCard.

Description of Service

ClipCard is a language learning tool that lets you select words and phrases on any webpage to get instant definitions, translations, and pronunciation. It includes a vocabulary dashboard with spaced repetition to help you retain what you learn. ClipCard is available as a Chrome extension and a web application.

Accounts

Some features require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. ClipCard is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use ClipCard only for personal language learning purposes. You may not:

• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the ClipCard API or services
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from ClipCard
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of ClipCard
• Use ClipCard for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual Property

ClipCard and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ClipCard and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your saved vocabulary, lookup history, and learning data remain yours.

AI-Generated Content

Definitions, translations, and other language content provided by ClipCard are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. ClipCard is not a certified dictionary or translation service and should not be relied upon as one.

Service Availability

ClipCard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClipCard and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to ClipCard at any time if you violate these terms. You may stop using ClipCard at any time by uninstalling the extension and/or deleting your account.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of ClipCard after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
